Minor maintenance at SK Sungai Durin, Sibu
16 November 2019 – SK Sungai Durin, a primary school in the outskirts of Sibu, reached out to CMS Roads Sdn Bhd (RMU Sibu) for help with some maintenance work to paint its wooden school buildings. The students’ parents and teachers participated in the minor makeover alongside 42 volunteers from the company to cut the overgrown grass around the school compound and paint the administration and washroom buildings. Heavy machinery such as tipper trucks, a mini hydraulic excavator and pedestrian roller were also used by our CMS employees to lay and compact the aggregates to widen and repair the uneven pathway inside the school compound. CMS Roads donated 12 tonnes of aggregate for this activity.
