26 October 2019 – Many speak highly of volunteerism, and they are right to do so; the value this altruistic activity brings is too rewarding not to be talked about. One of its benefits is the development of a stronger bond with our friends or co-workers which 38 volunteers from CMS Roads Sdn Bhd (RMU Tapah) are able to vouch for after teaming up again with 14 volunteers from the Public Works Department of Serian for a day of gotong-royong at Dewan Kampung Tijirak.
Our CMS volunteers contributed manpower and the heavy equipment needed to lay the 80 tonnes of premix sponsored by the latter for the community hall’s parking area. Through this joint CSR activity, our volunteers were able to cultivate friendships with the volunteers from JKR Serian and strengthen theirs ties with the local community they assisted.
