23 March 2019 – Two lorries carrying limestone aggregates were transported to Sibu Jaya Methodist Church to surface the area behind the church which is often used as an outdoor kitchen for the congregation of 1,800 churchgoers’ activities.
Twenty-seven employees from CMS Premix Sdn Bhd who are based in Sibu and Sarikei volunteered to carry out this gotong-royong activity. The men took on the heavy task of loading and shovelling gravel onto wheelbarrows while the ladies cleaned the inside of the Church to give it a sparkling shine.
Reverend Resa Nyalu, the Church’s Pastor expressed his gratitude to our CMS team for the help rendered. CMS Premix also donated 30 tons of aggregates for this CSR activity.
